The scheme involves the production, storage and supply of hydrogen in the Redcar area and we are proud to be working with a variety of companies and organisations to bring the necessary resources, skills and innovation to our project.

We have received funding from our regulator Ofgem and we have the support of the Government’s Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Health and Safety Executive. We are working in partnership with gas network Wales & West Utilities and liaising closely with Redcar and Cleveland Council, Tees Valley Combined Authority and Redcar and Cleveland College.

To ensure we carefully consider the needs of all our customers, particularly those who may need extra support, we are working with National Energy Action and seeking support from Citizens Advice and Communitas Energy.
